OUR VISION

To provide support in the form of scholarships to graduating Shadyside High School students and grants to teachers for the provision of education in the system.

OUR COMMUNITY

We believe the foundation of all great school systems like Shadyside Schools is the continual support the students, and teachers receive from the community and alumni of Shadyside

WHAT WE DO

In addition to hosting the all-class reunion dinner each year, we collect donations and administer funds for scholarships to students and grants to teachers.

Home of Tiger Alumni

Your Shadyside High School Alumni Association Scholarship Funds and the Educational Assistance Fund are administered by the Shadyside High School Alumni Association Fund which is a recognized IRS 501(c) (3) organization.  All contributions  to any/all SHSAA Scholarship Funds or the School Assistance Fund MAY BE eligible for tax deductibility, based on your tax filing status.  Please check with you accountant or financial adviser for your specific situation.

Payment of 'Dues' goes to the Alumni Association itself, which the IRS classifies as 501(c) (4) org.  Therefore, the amount of Dues paid (currently, $10 per person, per year) are NOT eligible for tax deductibility.
